What Can I Expect with my Initial Appointment? An initial appointment can take up to an hour and is split into 3 sections - a case history detailing your injury, assessment, and treatment. The first two aiming to diagnose your issue. Treatment will be hands on, and we will aim to prescribe relevant exercises suited to your issue.

What Can I Expect with a Follow-Up Appointment? Follow up appointments are mainly focussed on treatment, with brief discussions on how your issue is progressing and any other pertinent information.

What Should I Wear for my Appointment? This can vary depending on what is being treated. An ankle would require a pair or shorts or loose fitting trousers. Neck and shoulders might require you to remove a t-shirt. If in doubt please contact us via email to confirm.

How Many Sessions will I Need? That depends on what condition we are treating. Some patients do well with appointments as and when needed, while some more chronic conditions require maintenance appointments to keep on top of.

How Much is an Appointment? Initial appointments are £50, with follow ups being the same. We offer hour long appointments for £850. We also offer treatment packages of 6 for £270.

How is Osteopathy Regulated? Osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). The GOsC is there for the benefit of the general public. For more information follow this link - https://www.osteopathy.org.uk/home/

What is the Difference Between Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, and Chiropractic? All are manual therapists that should have access to the same assessments and techniques and are all hoping to make you better. It is much more important for you to see a practitioner who treats with a style that suits you. To generalise, the different professions have different ideas on how problems present and how to treat them. Osteopaths like mobilisation and soft tissue massage, Chiros prefer manipulation (HVT), and Physios prefer to use exercise therapy.

What are the opening hours? For now we are open 9:00am until 7:00pm Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. However please do not hesitate to contact us if you need an appointment outside these times.

Do you take insurance patients? We take most of the main insurance providers. Either search us on your insurers register or give us an email to confirm. You may need to be pre approved before treatment begins.

Shoulder Treatment

As a fellow osteopath I can't recommend Niall enough. He is very knowledgeable in anatomy and will always tailor his treatment plans to match his patients needs. I receive treatment from Niall regularly as I always does me good. I'd highly recommend you consider him if you have any aches or pains.
